Coming from a farming community in South Australia, I went on to study Natural Resource Management in the early 80’s before heading to the Northern Territory. It has been an amazing 35 year adventure, working for Aboriginal organisations from the desert country to the savannah, advising & working with Indigenous land owners in economic development, institutional governance frameworks & negotiations with conservation interests, developers, & governments.

This included 16 years as Executive Officer of Dhimurru Aboriginal Corporation, working with & learning from, Yolngu in NE Arnhem Land.

In 2017, I moved to Far North Queensland to work with Terrain NRM, primarily managing partnerships combining productivity and profitability extension services for sugar industry organisations involved in Great Barrier Reef water quality projects.
